The Skabs crazy
The Skabs "Crazy"
New song from the Skabs, the splinter group that split off from Bloody Mess and the Skabs. Talk about evolution...These guys are taking the punk rock world in a new direction every time we turn around. We're getting dizzy from all the activity. These guys must never sleep.
You can't ignore these guys. Constant innovators, they experiment wildly with all manner of digital media. Veteran punk performers, the Skabs are pushing punk far beyond its humble origins. And to top it all off, they're world-class comedians on their SkabTV webcast.
Congatulations Skabs, you're quickly becoming an NYC Punk Rock staple. You need to get out here and do some shows. And dn't giv us no lip.

The Rings let me go
The Rings "Let Me Go"
The Rings were a Boston based band of the early 80's that released 2 albums on MCA records. Unfortunately, they failed to catch on nationally, though they were quite popular and received much airplay in New England. Sort of a ska sound with a nu-wave look and attitude, "Let Me Go" was the closest they had to a hit.

Suicide Commandos "Burn It Down"
One night in the fall of 1977, the Minnetonka Fire Department burned down the condemned Utopia House--the legendary Commandos HQ that the band had rented for $30 a month. Knowing it would happen, the band wrote one of its finest anthems for the occasion--"Burn It Down"--shooting a video for the song with the flaming house as a live backdrop
